Coca-Cola Syrup Dispenser c. 1896

In 1896 the Coca-Cola Company created a program offering award premiums to fountain operators for selling their beverage. These porcelain dispensers were among the premiums offered.

The dispensers were made by the Wheeling Pottery Company of Wheeling, West Virginia.

Trimmed in gold and elaborate scrolling on the lid, base, and bowl.

Base and Bowl together are about 22" high including lid. Bowl is 10" high and 10" round. Base is about 9" high.

MAKER MARK ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL AND BASE.
