iGuide is Selling Made Simple—here's how it works...

iGuide.net is a fast, hassle-free way to sell valuables from the privacy of home. It's SELLING MADE SIMPLE. Instead of waiting for auctions or shipping to unknown buyers, sellers ship directly to iGuide—ensuring a secure transaction with guaranteed payment.

How It Works

You start by creating a free listing. Simply check the "for sale" box to indicate you are open to offers. Our experts then appraise your item and present our pricing recommendations. With your permission, we then notify our vetted professional buyers (we do not reveal your personal information). As purchase offers are received you are notified via email. The PURCHASE OFFER amount will appear in a section on your Item Page. Simply press ACCEPT or DECLINE. NOTE: Not all items will receive offers.

Purchase Offer Section

If we have a buyer for your item there'll be a Purchase Offer Price clearly indicated on the Item Page. Not every item will receive offers. If you don't see a Purchase Offer Price below the Appraised Price then your item has not received any offers.
THE APPRAISED PRICE IS NOT AN OFFER TO PURCHASE!

Start with a Listing

The first step in the selling process is determining fair market value and receiving our evaluation. We rely on you to accurately describe the condition and specifics of your item. Your written description is key to a smooth transaction. Upload high-quality photos to supplement your written description. The more detail in your description and quality in your photography the greater likelihood of success.

Accepting the Offer

Based on your description and photos, our experts will appraise your item and email a link to your Item Page with our pricing recommendation. The report will include the appraised retail value and a purchase offer price should we have any buyers. The offer price is typically 50% to 100% of the appraised value depending on the item (one ounce gold American Eagle coins are currently receiving offers of 100% of appraised value due to surging demand). The lower the appraised retail value the lower the offers will be.

Move forward if you wish to sell. Simply press the ACCEPT button. This let's us know you have accepted the offer and will be preparing the package for shipment.

If you feel the offer price is unacceptable for any reason simply press the DECLINE button to rejectthe offer.

Moving Forward

Once you press the "ACCEPT" button, you'll receive an email with "next steps" including shipping instructions. Purchase Offer is valid for 5 days.

Offer Price is Locked In

Once you accept the price will not change unless you misrepresented the specifics or condition of your item. Should a problem arise (misgraded, misrepresented), you are under no obligation to complete the sale. Your item will be returned (seller pays return shipping).

No Obligation

You maintain complete control over the transaction. Once an offer is received, you can either accept or decline without any obligation. This flexibility allows you to compare options and ensure you're satisfied with the price before proceeding.

Ship For Payment

You ship directly to us, ensuring a single, streamlined shipping process. iGuide’s parent company, 2nd Markets Corporation of Nashville, Tennessee, is your buyer, eliminating the uncertainty of dealing with unknown purchasers. We handle fulfilling the buy side with the buyer. This shields you from dealing with an unknown buyer and prevents fraud and abuse (this is similar to eBay Vault program).

Safe Shipping Guide

We provide detailed shipping instructions including sourcing of shipping materials and packing tips from professionals, ensuring a secure and hassle-free experience.

What About Large Collections?

If you have a large collection you may either submit them one by one or contact us first. Many sellers test the service with a single item before expanding operations. If you have an exceptionally large collection you wish to discuss then contact us by pressing the button below.

Business References

Sellers can rest assured that they are selling to a company with impeccable business references, decades of experience, and a reputation for professionalism. This is a major advantage over selling to an unknown buyer, where the risk of fraud, non-payment, or disputes is much higher.

Payment & Secure Transactions

Advantages

This service is ideal for those who want a safe and hassle-free way to sell their valuables without the uncertainty of auctions, classifieds, eBay or person-to-person negotiations.

Key benefits include:
- Speed – Receive offers and get paid quickly.
- No Uncertainty – Avoid the risks of waiting for a buyer or dealing with non-payments.
- Trusted Buyer – Ship directly to a reputable company with strong business references.
- No Seller Fees – Unlike auction sites or consignment services, there are no hidden fees or commissions.

Not a Consignment Service

With traditional consignment, sellers ships their items to a third party who only pays once the item sells. This process can take weeks or months, with no guarantee of when or if the item will sell. iGuide’s Seller Service eliminates this waiting game by offering an immediate cash payment. Sellers do not need to rely on an uncertain marketplace—iGuide buys the item directly then resells to the buyer.

Fast and Hassle-Free

Selling valuables through online marketplaces or auctions isn't private, can be time-consuming and unpredictable. Some auction house charge commissions as high as 40% including bogus "buyer premium." iGuide’s Seller Service removes these obstacles by providing a direct, secure, and efficient selling experience. With no need to negotiate, no listing fees, and no dealing with unknown buyers, this service offers sellers privacy, peace of mind and a guaranteed sale.
