1978 SuperStar Barbie & SuperStar Ken Set (Barbie 2422)

Original outfit. This two-doll set featured Barbie doll in a long, hot pink satin gown and a silvery and pink lacy boa. She had "diamond" earrings, necklace, and ring, and wore pink SuperStar shoes. Ken doll wore a velvety navy jumpsuit with a tricot-sleeved shirt front that had an attached cranberry tricot inset. A raspberry vinyl belt had a silvery buckle with a star emblem. He had a ring and "watch" with rose "stones" and a Ken ID bracelet. He wore clear red glasses with a painted silvery frame front and had black shoes.
