Giuseppe Armani designed and hand-painted Walt Disney Dwarf on a mahogany plinth by Sculture d'arte of Florence, Italy.

6-1/4 inches tall. 3-3/4 inches wide. Brass nameplate reads: Walt Disney's Grumpy by Giuseppe Armani. Hand-signed in ink by Giuseppe Armani. Includes original box.

Some of the most enduringly popular figurines that Giuseppe Armani created during his illustrious career were his sculpted recreations of classic Disney characters. With these sculptures Armani endeavored to recreate Disney's most beloved film characters as beautifully detailed three dimensional figurines while faithfully honoring Walt Disney's unique artistic style. The results were fantastically successful owing to Armani's tremendous skill and artistic vision. The figurines in Armani's Disney collection continue to be very popular with collectors.
