To celebrate Walt Disney on the centenary of his birth, Disney artist Chris Schnabel has created a tribute reflecting the myriad facets of a remarkable man. With Mickey Mouse as a center point, abstract shapes and warm color evoke the kaleidoscopic television opening of Walt Disney's Wonderful Wold of Color, itself an anthology showcase of the many Disney worlds. While not a timeline, each vignette illustration conjures cherished memories of heroic deeds, mesmerizing villainy, breathtaking beauty and joyful laughter. Whether fantasy or reality, filmed or experienced, Walt Disney's entertainment legacy is evinced by each resonant image. The dynamic influence of this American original now touches people all over the globe, and  will continue to delight and inspire for centuries to follow.

This 2-Pin, Walt Disney Gallery exclusive, framed pin set was issued to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Walt Disney's birth on December 5th, 1901. The edition was strictly limited to 5000 copies. This is number 2622.

The artwork is framed by its original 18 x 11-3/4 inch black moulding with plexiglass glazing and single-layer etched mat with a 10 x 6-5/8 inch opening. The frame is sealed and ready for hanging. The Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the back of the artwork.
