Aladdin GROUP HUG Limited Edition Framed Serigraph-Cel (Walt Disney Co., 1993)

"Group Hug", released in 1993, was carefully created using the fine-art screen printing process of color reproduction. Disney artists, working from the original animation drawings used for the production of Aladdin as well as from film reference materials, have translated the original image to a hand-inked and -painted cel. This cel was used by Moross Studio Originals, Inc. in the production of the serigraph cels.
5,000 serigraph cels and 200 publisher's proofs were created from this Limited Edition. As is custom in fine print-making, the silk screens were destroyed when the edition was completed. And just as an original print must bear the artist's signature for authenticity, each of these serigraph-cels bears the distinctive seal of The Walt Disney Company.

The serigraph-cel is framed by a 17-1/2 x 20-1/4 inch black plastic frame with a plexiglass glazing and double-layered mat with a 10 x 13 inch opening. Its Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the back of the mounting board.
