Taking inspiration from the 1960s London street culture "Swinging London", which is the origin of her creation, she proposes a fashion that can be enjoyed freely and urbanely for the next generation of Tokyo. In this project, she initiated a collaboration with various other creatives. From May 1st, 2019 (Wednesday), sales begin at Isetan Shinjuku and the official online shop (Japan). One of the projects collections is a collaboration with Barbie. The Sun Jewel Collection dates back to 1993 and is one of Barbie's diverse beach collections. For sale were 7 friends with different and colorful swimsuits that included "fancy jewelry". The collection had different characters such as Barbie, Ken, Skipper, Teresa, Kira, Steven, and unlike other beach lines, it included Shani (all dolls sold separately). Each doll and each doll came with stickers to stick on their body or on yours. Dr. Wojcicki is an anthropologist and epidemiologist with an interest in early-life risk factors for the development of obesity in high-risk populations. Specifically, she is interested in maternal exposures in pregnancy and early-life feeding decisions that can increase risk for obesity by age 5. Additionally, she has international expertise, particularly in sub-Saharan African populations, in evaluating the relationship between nutritional factors and HIV and HHV-8 infection and progression. Dr. Wojcickis research currently focuses on the evaluation of early-life risk factors for obesity. She recruited a mother-child Latino cohort with support from the NIH and CDHNF to evaluate the relationship between exposure to maternal prenatal and postnatal depression and risk for obesity at age 2, 5, and 7. In addition to obesity, Dr. Wojcicki is also interested in how pediatric undernutrition can contribute to HIV progression and infection with HHV-8. She is a collaborator on a long-term cohort study in Lusaka, Zambia.

The theme of this years Roma Fashion Doll Convention is Debutante Gals so He took design inspiration from the vintage 1966 Barbie fashion Debutante Ball originally designed by @carolsdazzlenvintage and designed his own interpretation of it. 60s inspired but for a gala of today! @hellogorgeoushair worked on the hair and made that updo do what it do; a 60s inspired loose and undone beehive in shades of ginger with a golden moneypiece. @minhtam_ slayed the face design as per usssssshj, capturing a modern 60s cut crease and spiky bottom lashes. A special thank you to @nc_dollcouture for executing my gown design to absolute unequivocal perfection! Carlyle bought the fabric and sent it to him to construct and sew; soft aqua silk faille overlaid with tulle, organza bows, and a pleated tulle underskirt. He captured everything, the specificity of the bell silhouette with no waist seam, the hemline as it curves from shorter in the front to longer in the back, the gradation of bow size.

The scientist was part of the team that performed genetic sequencing of the new coronavirus of the first cases of COVID-19 in Latin America and she lives for science and for fighting diseases. Being a black woman, from the Northeast of Brazil, having humble origins, and so young (only 31 years old, which makes many doubts about her extensive curriculum), Jaqueline never stopped believing in her potential. In 2020 Mattel launched a new Doll Design Showdown vote. This time he presented these 4 sketches of mermaids Barbie and merman Ken. Of these 4 sketches, Mattel made two prototypes. Pop Culture Dolls

The story starts with Cinderella (Barbie doll) sweeping with her straw broom with black plastic handle. She wore her "poor" dress that featured an olive canvas skirt with patches and a black bodice with red lacings and white sleeves. After her fairy godmother transformed her into a beautiful princess, Cinderella (Barbie doll) was ready to meet Prince Charming (Ken doll). Her "rich" gown was a combination of satin and lam. The dress came with two types of silver sparkle patterns on either a pale yellow or a golden satin. The bodice was silver lam with a stand-up tulle collar with silver edging. There was a white tulle half overskirt, too. Her headpiece was a silver braid tiara with two tulle trailing panels. She had beautiful clear "glass" (plastic) slippers with silver glitter and long white tricot gloves. A full-color theatre program was also included.
